I’m Nicola and I am on a mission to show you the tasty way to be healthy. I’m passionate about teaching people how to feed themselves healthy, wholesome and nutritious food, taking them on a journey to a healthier lifestyle.
I am constantly coming up with new and exciting ways to create delicious healthy food. Most of us are aware that we shouldn’t be eating some of the things we do, however, it can be hard to find quick and easy alternatives. The Wonky Spatula provides simple step by step recipes to help you stay on track without making you feel like you are on a diet. My focus is on leading a healthier lifestyle, ‘diets’ aren’t sustainable in the long run so I want to show people how they can eat healthy 100% of the time.
In order to bring you the best recipes possible, I am constantly learning new skills and reading up on healthy living. I have trained as a Chef and recently completed a diploma in Nutrition.
You may not know this but my site started out as a simple list of what is/isn’t paleo and has grown from my mission to illustrate to the tasty way to be healthy through a combination of gluten free, dairy free, paleo & some vegan recipes.
I’ve been a follower of the Paleo lifestyle since January 2014, and am constantly experimenting with healthy, wholesome and nutritious food. Eating paleo isn’t for everyone it is so important to listen to your body and fuel it with what it needs, so if you take one thing from my blog, I hope it is that you find a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable for you. Start by making small changes towards a healthier happier you.
