The Wonky Spatula’s keep in the Cupboard Garlic & Chilli Oil
I use this oil for absolutely everything, it’s great for adding flavour and making a seemly boring dinner that little bit more exciting! Anytime I have some chillies that are starting to go a bit shrivelled I whip up a batch!
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
3-4 cloves garlic crushed
2 chillies, finely chopped with the seeds removed
- Combine all of the ingredients.
- If you are not using it straight away leave to mature for 2-3 days, if not put it over a medium to low heat for 1-2 minutes until it has infused.
- Store in a sterilized container.
