The Wonky Spatula’s Paleo Pesto – you’ll never use a jar again!

I use this pesto for so many different things – it brightens up even the most boring of dishes!

Why not try it out with some zoodles? It’s quick and easy – just 3 simple steps that will make you questionΒ why you haven’t been making your own for years!

2 large bunches of fresh basil leaves
2 cloves of garlic – peeled and roughly chopped
4 fresh sage leaves
100ml olive oil
100g pine nuts

Salt & pepper – optional

Method:

  1. Toast the pine nuts in a large pan, over a medium heat. Once toasted leave to cool.
  2. Place the basil, sage, pine nuts and garlic into a food processor and blend.IMG_3853
  3. Slowly add the olive oil to the food processor until the mixture forms a thick pesto like puree.IMG_3854
