Red Hot Baked Sprouts

Red Hot Baked Sprouts

Hello there! I’ve been debating for the last couple of weeks as to whether or not it was the right time to be sharing recipes or not. But after some consideration, I reckon I’ll keep on going and hopefully you will find them useful 🙂

Now more than ever it’s important to eat seasonally and shop local. Sprouts are currently in season so this is the perfect recipe.

This recipe is Gluten Free, Dairy Free & Paleo

Red Hot Baked Sprouts

Print This
Serves: 4 Prep Time: 5 Minutes Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1kg brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp garlic & chilli oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting the sprouts in half. 
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. 
  3. Toss the sprouts in the oil and season with salt and pepper, layout on an ovenproof dish and bake for 15-20 minutes. 
  4. In the meantime combine the hot sauce, honey and mustard. 
  5. Remove the sprouts from the oven toss in the hot sauce mix, layout again on the dish and bake in the oven for a further 10-15 minutes. 
  6. Serve and enjoy!!
