Birds Eye Green Cuisine is the perfect alternative to meat for those expanding their taste buds
This recipe, using the Meat-Free Burgers, is sure to spice up your mid-week dinner
Cutting down on your meat intake is a great change to make in 2020.
I’m a big fan of the new Green Cuisine range from Birds Eye, which is the perfect ally to help you on your way to eating more vegetables and packing key nutrients into your diet, without any compromise in taste.
The Green Cuisine Meat-Free Burgers are an absolute showstopper and couldn’t be simpler to prepare. What I love about them most is that they can be oven baked or shallow fried, which means they can be enjoyed no matter what your schedule is like. (They can also be cooked up on the BBQ, so be sure to bookmark this recipe for the summer months!).
Personally, if I’m doing them as part of a meal prep, popping them in the oven is perfect as they can cook away by themselves while I prepare other things, but if I come home and in a hurry, I prefer to pop them straight on the pan and watch over them until they’re done.
The Green Cuisine range is powered by plants, and these meat free burgers are made of pea protein which is high-quality and easy to digest. It’s also rich in iron and offers benefits such as keeping you feeling fuller for longer and helps towards heart health, as it’s naturally cholesterol and saturated fat free.
With a unique combination of herbs and spices, and a seriously moist texture, these burgers really are different to anything else on the meat-alternative market. They are so delicious your family won’t even notice they are meat-free!
Whether you are vegetarian, vegan or just want to cut down on red meat intake for you and the family, this range is the perfect solution.
