This perfectly creamy porridge, my latest obsession is to create a creamy caramel flavour with my oats. It is so smooth and delicious and really simple to do, one of my favourite porridge hacks! I’ve recently added oats into my morning routine and I cannot get enough of them! I go for a ratio of 1 part oats to 2 parts water and it works a charm every time. - 45g oats
- 250ml water
- 2 medjool dates
- 50ml almond milk
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Assorted toppings of your choice
- Combine the oats and water together in a small pot and add to a medium-high heat, stirring occasionally for 5-6 minutes until it comes to a gentle boil.
- Chop up 2 medjool dates into small chunks and add them in with 50ml of almond milk to cook for a final 2-3 minutes.
- Add to a bowl, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, some cashew butter & dark chocolate. Enjoy!
